I've had the privilege of serving as a UI/UX tutor at CareerFoundry, where I am dedicated to mentoring students in user-centered interface design. My role involves providing personalized guidance and practical skills to aspiring designers from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing best practices, design patterns, and pixel perfection. I focus on instilling a deep understanding of user mental models and the importance of addressing real user problems and needs, with strong, consistent and proficient building skills.

Central to my teaching philosophy is assertiveness in user research initiatives. I stress the importance of discerning when deeper efforts in generative or evaluative methodologies are warranted and when they are not. Understanding how research should align with the power of execution is crucial. As junior designers, it's essential to grasp this balance and to prepare ourselves in the skills most needed in the early years of our professional lives.

During my tenure, I've mentored over 30 students, witnessing firsthand their growth. I foster a hands-on learning environment where students apply theoretical knowledge to real-world projects, focusing on crafting solutions that resonate with users' genuine needs rather than merely technical features.
